Life can throw some curve balls at you when you don't expect them. What we do when that happens defines us. I know the struggle with infertility and it can be the most defeating thing in life if you let it. When you meet a couple that had to face infertility and had the heart to overcome their fears and push through with the testing the poking the prodding and the nerves of it all, you understand what they feel and you try to convey this love, this magic in their eyes when they look at their little miracle baby.
Being able to capture these precious moments with one of the most beautiful baby girls was truly a privilege for me. I can't explain the feeling of joy and happiness that overcome me as soon as I walked in their door. The feeling of love just poured out of their souls and washed over me as we talked about their journey through the scary "I" word. They are one of the strongest couples I know. I may have just met them but I can just tell you that they are going to be spoiling their little angel. She is a lucky little one.
On another note though, she will not be dating until she is 90. Daddy is already talking about how he is the only man who is allowed to be the love of her life. He literally made my heart swoon when he talked to her. He was filled with love and when he told her "I love you beautiful", and all I could think about is the love of this father for his darling daughter is one of the most special bonds I've ever had the privilege to witness. I'm sure that for many years to come he will be as smitten with this little girl as he was from day one.
Mom was a joy to work with as well. The hearts literally coming out of her eyes were seen through my lens. She has much to be proud of. She carried this little angel for nine months and now can finally hold her little bundle of joy. She will keep daddy in check for sure. Little E will be having daddy wrapped around her little finger and mom will be able to make sure that doesn't go too out of control.
Soon enough, this new little family will be homeward bound and will be greeted will a lot of open arms from the family they are super excited to introduce their new little girl to. Many family members are chomping at the bit to meet this little girl and not too much longer they will be able to steal her from her parents and she will steal all their hearts. I should know, she already has stolen mine.
May all your future endeavors be amazing and beautiful just like your new little family is. I appreciate the opportunity to capture these beautiful moments. They are more special than you will ever know. They remind me of when I brought my own baby home and how that was just the most rewarding experience. Infertility is not the end of your dreams for having a family. You can still achieve these dreams.
Many blessings to your family!
