Once in a lifetime you come across a small wonder. Some are surprises and others are planned, but all are glorious. I can't imagine a better surprise than one that comes in the form of two pink lines.
When thinking of these surprises I can't think of one better than a baby. When deciding to expand your family you start to imagine what that looks like. I know for me I dreamed of a little girl to play dress up with and share in all things girly. I also have dreamt of rolling down hills and jumping in puddle with a bouncy little boy.
I was blessed with a little girl this past summer and have been witness to many of my friends that have welcomed their own little princesses into this world. I wouldn't have imagined the love and support that surrounds us all as we have become washed in pink and glitter.
I know a perfect little angel that has the most wonderful parents in the world. She is going to be spoiled from her little toes to her tiny bows on her head. I've spent some time recently with close family friends and have captured some amazing moments of them growing closer and closer as they find their new groove as a new little family of three.
The love in the room is one to take your breath away. You can tell in just the first few moments how in love they are with their new little girl. Sometimes you can't see past the crazy in the beginning of parenthood to the magic in the room, I am raising my hand to this because I definitely was sleep deprived and blind to it, but it is in every second of every day. They change us as people into something way more special. They see what we no longer are able to see.
In this world we need some bright eyed little ones to show us the way we are supposed to live. I see life differently now being a mom and I know that I will be challenged to make sure that her life is just as wonder filled as she sees it now. I see this in all newborns that I have photoshoots with. They learn so fast and grow even faster. I vow to let them be little and enjoy this time with them because it will not last long.
Shhhhh! A princess is sleeping and I will let her sleep and I will watch her sleep as I see her future in these moments. Her future is great! I want to be able to soak up all these quiet moments fore these are the moments she won't remember but I will never forget.
