It’s definitely been a year of firsts for me with this little business of mine. But one I never could have dreamt up was being contacted by the sweetest couple from all the way in Europe.
I was so shocked when they told me they had been looking around at all the photographers in the area and fell in love with my work. I couldn't have been more humbled. They explained that they were moving to the area soon and wanted to book for an anniversary session. I explained that they shouldn't worry about a thing. They should focus on their trek over to the US and when they got stateside that we would figure it all out.
As they made their way over here we kept in touch. When they finally got settled in we started to narrow down the date of their session. We just happened to pick the most perfect date. Their actual anniversary!! Guys how perfect could this be?!
Let me tell you how perfect!! On top of being the sweetest they were so fun to work with as well. Giggled literally the entire time we were together. It was more like hanging out with friends than strangers that I had literally just met. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
When we talked about poses and unposed shots we also took advantage of what was left of the fall foliage. I could have soaked up hours of looking at the oranges around us and the rustling of the leaves on the ground as we walked the grounds of the park.
So... Cherry on the cake was they brought the best third wheel ever! A four legged angel that made all the cutest faces and was just so excited to explore their new surrounding as they were. He was the best dog ever. He was good as gold the entire time and could care less about the crazy lady whistling and yelling his name with that big black blob in front of her face. I may or may not have spoiled him with lots of hugs, rubs, kisses and of course treats! I mean who could resist that face with his tongue hanging out just so happy to be along side his favorite humans!
I am so excited to have met these two! I wish them many more anniversaries with pizza on football Sundays and lazy days cuddling their fur baby!!
Happy 1 Year Anniversary!!
