I couldn't have dreamt up the love between this momma and her boys. She is strong. She is beautiful. She is kind. She is the backbone of her family.
I look at her and I want to be more like her as a mom. She claims she is just like everyone else but from the outside looking in she is an angel.
It is not always smooth sailing being a mom. The chaos can be too much to bear some days. But as I sat and watched this family grow by one more little boy monkey, I can just imagine all the adventures that the three little monkeys will go on. The smile on mommas face as she watched her two older boys dote on this new little munchkin was just perfection. This is what I look forward to her seeing.
I know we as mommas get caught up in it all and can't see the magic in the little moments. Knowing this I wanted to spend extra time trying to capture the smaller moments. These often are the ones that we cherish most.
As for dad I just can't even explain the smile on his face when we talked about all three of his boys. He is going to have so much fun as they grow. Something about dads and their boys.
The longer I watched the more I wanted to see if for just one moment they all would forget I was even there. And just as I suspected magic happened. They were just a family. Just enjoying the moment. Just taking in the newborn experience for me is everything.
These big brothers have so much to look forward to. So much trouble is to be had. So much fun and laughter will fill spaces that even they don't know is possible.
As I was leaving I could see the cheeky smiles and hear the giggles in the background. I know that to some they would ask what those boys were doing, but for me I already knew. Fun!
Momma the years go fast as the seconds seem to go on forever when your stressed. But let me tell you, in those moments are memories. And when they grow up you have some stories to tell, especially the embarrassing ones. Hehe
You are strong. You are beautiful. You are amazing. You are a momma!
