We braved the 20* weather with jumping in and out of the car for quick warm ups. I honestly didn’t think it would be this cold since the weather apps all said it would be closer to 30*. Well they were wrong, very wrong. With waking up to 14* I was crossing all my fingers and toes hoping it would warm up.
Luckily the beauty of the snow glistened trees was enough to forget how cold we were and enjoy how magical everything seems this time of year.
We all were smiles and giggles. Well, all but one. But I’ll take it since if I were him and having some goofy looking lady with her face covered with a big black blob yelling and making funny noises, I would be concerned for her health too.
Even with the snow being ~20 inches we walked around and kicked up the snow to make more room for us to get the perfect photos. We had to jump some bigger piles due to plows and saw some deer in the woods. Small adventures along the way make all the more fun and just make my jaw drop in awe of the beauty of nature.
As we were looking around at our surroundings we of course were able to get some fun and Christmas card worthy shots. Which of course is the goal of today but all the little moments along the way make it all so special. I love being able to get carried away in conversations and I always enjoy being able to really connect with families.
As I smile writing about how cute today was I am thankful I get to meet such amazing people. I always look forward to meeting new families. I truly believe people are put in our lives for a reason, whether a lesson to be learned or a new friend to be made, and this little business of mine is just the canvas to the painting being made that represents how I’m being molded and shaped as I grow to learn more about this beautiful life.
