This year has been amazing!
We have found a beautiful rhythm with Freya and we are amazed at how much she has grown into her own little person.
We have always wanted to have more children so we set off on another adventure to try to give miss Freya a sibling. We weren’t really sure how it was going to go since we needed an extra helping hand to have Freya. So we just said we are going to just try for a while then seek help if we need it again.
With Jesse in and out of the house this year for many trainings, we just said whatever happens we are going through it together.
So we are chugging along in the crazy thing called life and loving every second of being parents to our little girl. Well.... to our surprise all those days of tracking cycles helped us!! We found out we are going to have another baby.
I couldn’t believe it. I’m going to be a mom again.
And how we found out was more than a typical us as a couple moment. Haha.
If you don’t know us we as a couple are fun and boring all in the same. We love socializing but on our terms and are quite the homebodies. We love taking family adventures and love sightseeing. We try to take advantage of every new place we live since we move often being military.
So back to us and two pink lines.
So I guess I had been a little feisty for about a week. And I’m not usually one to pick fights or anything. I’m usually a go with the flow unless it’s needed then I will definitely take a stand. I didn’t think I was being overly emotional or aggressive but I could be wrong. Jesse said to me one day “ you need to go pee on a damn stick! You are being so mean and I think you are pregnant. The last time you were like this you were pregnant with Freya. Something about Messer babies makes you a terror to be around.” Hahahaha. I turned around and was in shock. I can’t remember what I was like right when we found out with Freya. I just remember all the puking. Lol.
Well the next day when I woke up I took a test. Within seconds the two lines showed up and were dark. I was definitely pregnant and there wasn’t a doubt about it.
Fast forward through the weeks after we’re it was quite boring. Not really sick. Some nausea. I have to eat chocolate after I eat so I don’t gag. Surprisingly an easy first trimester. Way different than with Freya.
Then second trimester comes along and no different. Only thing is now I can tell friends and family!! Well that and I now feel our littlest beeb moving every once in a while.
Fast forward to today!!
We are halfway through this pregnancy.
And.....
We now know the gender and I am feeling more and more movement every day!! I think this is my favorite part of pregnancy for sure. Something about the fluttering and knowing that we are connected.
So here is our big surprise!!!

BOY!!!!!!
We are just so over the moon to be the first to have a boy grandchild!!!! Ahhh..... now what am I supposed to do with a boy?? I know nothing about them. Haha
All I know is here come all the trains planes and automobiles!!! And our nursery theme will be sea creatures!! Yay!!!
I’m so excited about this little boy! I can’t even contain it!!
So I’m a mom of both as of now!! AKA Momma of both Messes!!
Baby boy Messer is officially baking and will be here soon!! I can’t wait for July to meet him!
