As I write this post covid-19 is running ramped all around the world. Everyone is stuck inside and social distancing themselves from all family and friends especially those who are at higher risk by being immune impaired.
As I write this post my anxiety is high, my heart hurts for those who are in a living nightmare, my emotions are soaring to new places I've never known.
As I write this post my better half is far from home, and my safe place (his arms) is not where I need it to be.
As I write this post our future is uncertain, the death toll is rising, and its scary.
As I write this post my kids won't remember this, and don't know anything has changed. This makes me relieved. I don't want them to remember the feeling of uncertainty as well as seeing their mom be all in her head about what comes next for the months to come.
This post isn't easy to write because its like facing a reality that I don't want to.
This post isn't fun. This post isn't a pity party. Nor is it a cry for help. At least not for me.
Today my family is safe healthy and thankful for those who are facing this cruel virus head on.
We are staying home and wishing those around us stay safe as well.
Businesses are struggling all while people don't know how they are going to put food on the table for their kids. This is a scary time for everyone touched in any way from this virus. From first responders to essential personnel to the furloughed to the unemployed to the small businesses to the stay at home parents. Its all unknown territory for all of us. We are appreciative to those we take for granted and we are opening our eyes to new normals we didn't know existed.
Gas prices are at low we haven't seen in many many years. Stocks are plummeting. but we will bounce back. We will thrive again. But to get there we need to remember to stay strong at home.
We are not alone. We are all together working toward the same goal.
Today like everyday we are to remember the love and spread the hope.
There isn't a need to primp when lives are in danger. Salons are closed. We all may look caveman like after this but I think this is a good reminder that looks aren't everything.
Health means more!
If it isn't necessary then don't risk it.
Flatten the curve!
Love thy neighbor by staying home!
May you all stay safe and stay filled with hope!
With all that I have I wish you all the best during this tough time in our lives.
Please check on your friends family and neighbors safely. You never know who needs that extra gesture to help them through the day. Keep positivity your number one thought and carry on with your social distancing. We are gonna make it through.
As I write this post I thank you all for your support and love for Salute Life Photography. I am taking this time to truly hone in on my family and learn some new techniques. I will not be back photographing clients until completely safe to do so. Im not sure the timeframe for me to be back but as I get more information we will come up with a more definitive plan. So for now I will be staying in, staying safe, staying hopeful, and staying in touch with you all through social media platforms.
